Hallo...My name is Stevie, I am a self taught jewellery designer and I am a registered member of SRAJD I live in Kent with my husband David & our 2 children I enjoy making jewellery in my spare time...altho I have only fairly recently discovered this avenue of enjoyment I have always enjoyed craft & making things, especially from nothing much & our home is crammed with pots of glitter, scraps of card, material, ribbons, glues & boxes upon boxes I should have a sort out & make some space but all of them are treasures which I know I'll need as soon as I get rid of them ! All of my items are unique & are made from beads & pendants that I have been collecting for many years
Some of the 'ingredients' are new & some are recycled from jewellery I have rescued & therefore may have signs of use ....which I think adds to their charm, personally I prefer the older rescued pieces.. when I find a new batch of beads or charms its really quite like stumbling across a box I buy from boot fairs, craft fairs, craft shops, jumble sales & just about anywhere on the planet via the internet On occasion I use items I find on the beach, in the woods, in fact I am never switched off when I'm out & about..Something catches my eye & I start thinking...what can I use that for........
Every piece I make is a one of a kind creation & would & could not be repeated in its exact form, I am easily bored so am constantly thinking up new ideas & am also open to any suggestion you may have !
